Notes:
Bred in the UK by Dr J T Lloyd of Tregaron.
In 1926 the original cardigan standard was based on Bob Llwyd, who was considered typical.
Awarded BOB at CRUFTS in 1927, Mr. J. Jordan Jones, J.P. judging. This was was the first year corgis were accepted for showing at Crufts and there were no CCs.
Bob Llwyd lived to the ripe old age of 18 years and according to J.K. Linacre (Dog World, 24.09.1976) all today's Cardigans trace back to him.
The 1927 Crufts catalog lists his birthdate as 30-JUN-1926, while other sources say he was born in 1917.
His KC registration lists his date of birth as 1917 and his colour as sable and white
